Having suffered from poor vision since the age of 10, I had come to the conclusion that I would have to wear glasses or contacts for the rest of my life. When vision correction surgery started years ago I thought there was no way I would ever do something like that.
As an insurance agent dealing professionally with the doctors and staff at Eye Surgical Associates, I had been fortunate enough to meet several individuals who had successful LASIK eye surgery. One employee told me the day after her procedure, "This is the best thing I have ever done."
In June, 1999, I decided to have LASIK and to this day I continue to have 20/20 vision in both eyes. The doctors and staff were extremely helpful in answering all my questions. And the best part, there was absolutely no pain!
It is enjoyable now to participate in outdoor activities such as swimming and golf and not have to wear glasses or contacts. The only glasses I have to wear now are sunglasses.
